Kesunyian dia memang terasa sangat – sangat, especially bila lagu raya putar 24 jam. Aku nyanyi sorang – sorang, latih vokal nak masuk Jangan Lupa Lirik.

Sebenarnya banyak benda berlaku sebelum raya ni. Mula – mula dah agak raya jatuh hari selasa, 30 September, tapi lepas tu aku semak balik ikut ISNA, hari Rabu plak. Kemudian ramai juga student -student lain sambut raya hari Rabu. Mana satu ni. Akhirnya, datang email dari kepala besar Muslim Society kat sini, raya jatuh hari selasa. Dan paling lawaknya, aku ingat Malaysia raya hari selasa. Maka aku telefon lah mak aku nak surprise dia pagi – pagi raya. Last – last, tengah tidur lagi, baru lepas sahur. Gyahaha. Terus hilang rasa nak bersyahdu di pagi raya.

Post ni sebenarnya aku nak tulis pagi – pagi buta tadi. Tapi buka laptop jer, sedar -sedar download dah habis. Tengok Heroes dulu lah, baru nak tulis. Lepas tu baru sedar tak sempat. So inilah post aku untuk raya kali ni. Aku miss gila festival raya dekat Malaysia (Open House wooh). Dia punya spirit and aura dia tu memang ternyata lain. Tapi tak bermakna kita tak beraya kat sini. Ada jenis – jenis tu, bila kat tempat lain (tak kisah lah kat mana), raya ni takda makna kalau nak compare dengan dekat rumah (kampung), raya kosong. Tak elok fikir macam tu, habis tu usaha kita berpuasa selama sebulan ni untuk apa? Sekadar kosong perut jer, kurus badan, turun berat etc².

Tapi memang benar lah pun, kalau nak dikatakan.

Tak kisah lah sebesar mana pun kesalahan tu, ampunkan lah. Yang sesama di sini pun, *ehem* berbaik – baiklah sesama kita, rasa seronoklah bila berjumpa. Mungkin kita tak kenal satu sama lain dengan rapat, tapi layanlah dengan cara terbaik. Mungkin kami pun tak kenal sama kamu, yer kamulah yang tengah baca post ni. Aku mintak maaf zahir dan batin.

Monyet Sopan

Kesopanan Itu Penting Dalam Menjaga Sikap Yang Baik

Last but not least, terimalah gambar monyet paling sopan pernah aku jumpa sebagai hadiah Hari Raya ni. Sekian.

Bila aku baca blog posts orang lain yang suka menceritakan pengalaman travel back to Canada, or anywhere, aku di sini malas pula nak buat sedemikian sebabnya dulu aku dah pernah buat (dalam blog friendster).

So, bila akak yang tinggi lampai serta make-up tebal cun tak ingat dunia lalu kat sebelah aku sambil tolak troli, aku pun berfikir (sambil cuba bertanya).

Kes pertama: “Kak, top-up Celcom 10, i-Talk 10”

Kes kedua: “Kak, gula – gula Sugus 20 sen”

Kes Ketiga: “Kak, Asam Boi sepeket. Lepas tu serbuk kari ayam Adabi, kelapa separuh, daun sup daun bawang seikat”

Bila sampai jer apartment tumpangan, lelap tak sedar diri, kepenatan. Sewaktu lalu kastam, beg aku diperiksa teliti, lalu terserempaklah dengan serunding tiga peket. “Ni apa?”, tanya cik sedari. “Owh, ni ramuan yang dicampur bila dimasak”. “Daging ker?”. “Bukan, ikan”. Hebat gila gebang aku, kalaulah aku gebang camtu dulu bila first time masuk, tentu tak kebuluran.

Sewaktu kapal terbang lalu atas The Big Apple, kemalasan aku menjadi penyesalan. Aku sepatutnya boleh mengeluarkan kamera mengambil gambar. Tapi…

Sekarang sudah hampir setengah bulan kita berpuasa. Alhamdulillah, takda apa musibah lagi yang menyebabkan aku tidak berpuasa, ada pun sekali bila aku lupa nak betulkan jam setibanya dekat Nova Scotia. Adeyh. Susah betul puasa ketika summer ni, bukan sahaja panjang, tapi dugaan di luar sana. Tapi lately ni, asyik hujan jer, okayh arr tu!

Hari ini, obsession aku makin menjadi. Takpa lah, biarlah aku pokai sekalipun, janji aku dapat merasa.

(Sorry lah, takda gambar untuk post ni)

I’m back in Canada for my third year of study. Another 2 years to go and done. But as usual, we have to face so many obstacles in studies and life. That is the normal course for every human being. Anyways, I wanna skip that part first and continue what I left unfinished. I hate myself for being a person that can’t finish the job that I’ve started. For example, right now it has been 4 months since I started reading The Black Book novel. I  tried to get it every time I went to bed, but after 4 to 5 pages, I’ve long gone into the dreamy world of letters and confusion (yes, the novel is so hard to understand, I mean the plot that the writer puts up). Forget that, here goes my final tourism destination for this year’s summer.

Langkawi for the second time. Hua, hua, sorry about that guys. But personally speaking to my mates that travel with me during the middle of June, we had a very good time compared to this one. August is the  beginning of raining season. I stayed there for 4 days, but 2 days gone because of rain. The activity, as usual an unfigured by me, again is Island Hopping. The same spot: Dayang Bunting, Eagle “Fiding” and Beras Basah. But this time, I get my revenge swimming in the sea uninterrupted by the stupid Landak Laut at Beras Basah. Less pain, more gain. But not every revenge is a sweet revenge, after 10 minutes of swimming, rain started pouring down and heavily for another 20 minutes.

We stayed at a free apartment, of Ariff courtesy. We had our dinner at, well first night at a restaurant near the airport, second night at home due to heavy rain, and third night…damn, I forgot. The evening after we finish our trip of Island Hopping (that is the scond day we arrived in Langkawi), all of us tried to go to Beras Terbakar, but since Amir’s dad is driving, we couldn’t say much (I can’t say much), we just hanging around Pantai Cenang, viewing people in the sea swimming happily while spotting dark cloud in the horizon. Then all of us went to the apartment and called it a day.

Tomorrow, we all planned to go to Machincang Cable Car, but then due to the freaking rain, we aborted our plan and went to Tanjung Rhu. Lets get the details. The rain started early in the morning, by 10 a.m. it started to slow down, so we decided to get out of the apartment and tour around the so called Largest Shopping Mall in Langkawi, which as big as Selayang Mall. After the rain stopped, which is around 11 a.m. we all went to Tanjung Rhu by taking the old road, passing the old houses and villages, taking the natural suasana kampung, permai desa. Haha. Around 12 p.m. to our disappointment, the rain started again. By the time we arrived at Tanjung Rhu, the rain was heavy. Despite of that, I was awed by the place’s beauty. Okayh, here come the serious part, a tragedy occured here, at one of Tanjung Rhu’s restaurants. Not going to share the “real” detail here, skip it for the sake of mankind (i.e. for the sake of Ariff). We decided to come again in the evening before the sunset, if that we can’t get onto the Cable Car.

After Jumaat Prayer, we grab our wet clothes and went back to cable car, and to our dissapointment, the cable car can’t operate due to the heavy fog at the top. So, we all went back to Tg. Rhu. The ocean at that time produced a scary waves near the shore. By the look of it, only a good swimmer can get into it. I can’t since I don’t know how to swim. So began our project of “Gambar Lompat” and I don’t have the experiment results right now, so we have to wait for a month (the guy in charge has difficulty in connecting to internet).

Next day, was our last day. It was Saturday, and the weather was the best, despite of the heat. One of the thing that pleased me in this tour for second time was that I able to do some shopping for my Sis and Mom. Then I know that Langkawi is the shopping heaven for my Mom, and it would be hell for me if I enrolled into MRSM Langkawi. Owh yeah, for this tour, I managed to take the ferry instead of Airplane, and it’s not a pleasure experience. For the first half of the day, before we dapart to Kuala Lumpur, we tried our luck again for the Cable Car experience, but unfortunately, like the rest of us expected, it was full and packed with human. Darn school holidays.

Look at that

With that, my summer holiday ended with *somewhat* a blast. Dilemma. I wish that I can hit Redang someday…
