This is a one shot post about my hobby. I will be using random words together with few to a lot of bad grammar. Thus, I apologize in advanced for such problem. Also for few ignorant things that might occur in this post (as I am not a fully modded super-geek in gaming), I apologize for that too.

Role-playing game has been the best of gaming genre that I ever played. Starting back in my childhood, at age around 7-8 years old. I bought a book that give us a table in the beginning of the book, and then a story begin that take us to assume a role of last warrior, Lone Wolf from a magical school embarking on a journey to defeat the “evil lord” that kill everyone from the school. Within this book I can choose different choice that take me either to next page or or few pages in the back that ultimately show what is the choice I made. And when I entered a battle, I have to use some mathematical senses and dice rolling method to fight the enemy, and with that I will know – in gambling senses – the outcome of my battle. (For more information: wikipedia)

Lone Wolf 1

Here is the uncool thing: because the book was in Malay, and because I am lazy so much, I never really follow the rules in the book and read it through from the beginning to the end. Also, since there is so many books spawn from the series, even until he is no longer a normal soldier and have turned to a grandmaster Yoda level, I gave up. There are few of my friends that took it seriously, yet they still gave up in the end.

It wasn’t later than that I learned about Final Fantasy, a series of RPG video games by Square-Enix (Used to be called SquareSoft before the emerging). Before the the year 2001, I always came to my friend house to check him out playing Final Fantasy VII. That was all I can do until I bought PSone in 2001. But around that time Final Fantasy IX was released, so I was stuck with both game and also my PMR (a mid-school examination).

After the PMR ended in September 2002, I started playing Final Fantasy IX, which I have played it half way before the exam. I played it almost 24/7 I recalled it again. And what did I get in the end?

When the game finished, I felt a strange surge in my body about the game. I can even remember how I felt sad when the game finish. I want something more from the game. I felt satisfied with the game. But I didn’t played it again, I move one with the greatest hit of Final Fantasy, FFVII.

It didn’t took me a long time to finish the game. Together with a guidebook, I mostly finish all the side-quest and the main quest. But at the end, I never felt the same feeiling with finishing FFIX. Probably because for FFIX, it was my first time playing RPG. Probably. But in any ways, FFVII was a greatest game of FF by far (not until I encountered FFXII).

Then in 2003, I bought a PS2, after few month and years waiting for it (I got a good marks in PMR). And my first grab of many games: Kingdom Hearts. There was also FFX, but I was less enthusiast with it compared to KH. Kingdom Hearts brought me to a new level of RPG after quite a while of hiatus after FFVII.

Why wasn’t I felt all that good about FFX? It has a good camera option, a smooth CGI, a good and beautiful looking characters. But I believe it was deluded by KH and and the blitz ball side-game. I hate the blitz ball. Also the grid system that need you to have certain crystal to level up. Not to forget also the dark theme of the story.Yet I think I want to look at it  again some other time. Maybe I might get the feeling again. Sometime in the future, perhaps.

Not to forget also, a tactical action game, Metal Gear Solid. I was enjoyed and thrilled with this game when I played it in PS emulator in PC. But the quality was low, and stupid. So I played it again in PSone later, and I can consider it as the best game series in my gaming years.

Now in this unstoppable changing in gaming generation, new platform and games coming out, but only few games that I’m looking forward: Final Fantasy versus XIII, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. But to play both of this game, I need to start saving from now, and maybe after I begin to work in the next two years. All of this can wait. Yes, I have to have patience. Not to forget also few RPG tactical game in PC that are now absolutely ridiculous in the computer specifications (Crysis, Fallout 3, Gears of War, etc.). To play the latest games, you need to spent thousands amount of dollars to get a good PC to play the game. But not to worry, even that is also in my long term list. Buy the disk now, and played it in few years later. LOL.

What is my gaming experience basically? The first game I ever played when I was young, after my father brought back a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) look-alike (I believe it was replica, made in China probably) was Tetris. With it then, I played few other games, swapping catridges with my cousin that included Contra, Mario, pin-ball and few others that I forgot the names. Then came PC games, cheap PC games such as Dragon Lair, Prince of Persia and a game that is almost like Contra, however I forgot the name.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Then in 2000, I got a Gameboy and with it I played the sensation hit of that time, even now – Pokemon (short for pocket monster). I was so obsessed with it, that I was able to collect all 245 Pokemon together with my friends. Now I wonder where did I put my Gameboy…

Then PSone came shortly after that. Final Fantasy IX, VIII, VII, MGS , WWE (it was a hit for some period), Legend of Mana, Breath of Fire, etc. (I basically forgot the least best).

The mist dangerous guy

The most dangerous guy

PS2 hit me in 2003. Titles included Onimusha (1,2,3, Dawn of Dreams), MGS2 (Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater), Kingdom Hearts, Silent Hill 2, Katamari, Medal of Honor, Zone of Enders, FFX, FFXII (the best yet in my experience – whole new level and I love the concept), God of War 1 & 2 (the best!!), Shadow of the Colossus, etc.

Right now, I have a Nintendo DSi, a new hand-held console from Nintendo, one of the oldest gaming company that still survive until today with their genius gaming platform. But due to financial problem, I can only afford one game now, The World Ends With You and I’m still working on it. One of the coolest thing about this game is I have to stop playing for a few days so that I can level up by shutting down the console. What a unique game.

Well, now hoping for the future, Final Fantasy versus XIII, I will definitely play you!

I love games made by the Kingdom Hearts developers team.

Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts are all belong to Square-Enix
God of War belong to Sony Game
Metal Gear Solid belong to Konami
Katamari belong to Bandai – Namco

Beautiful, yet Dangerous; you never defeat her in the game
Beautiful, yet Dangerous; you never defeat her in the game

It has been almost one month since the last post, and almost 3 weeks since my spring course started. Yup that’s right people I can speak a little bit of Spanish right now, but not really fluent of course. Just few words that has been taught in the class.

Back to the title of this post, I just wanna share few things that has been happening lately. Starting with my Bermuda field trip, friends Graduation day, my birthday party (small party), summer blockbuster movies, and music.

The trip in overall was awesome. Despite of some “motion problems” on the boat, but overall, I did my best to make the trip enjoyable. Let me summarize what we did for the marvelous week:

  • In Saturday the day we arrived, we checked in the Bermuda Institue of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) with empty stomach they only served us sandwich and few chips plus cookies. what the hell right? but yet we still got a good supper / dinner that evening after we got back from St. Georges, a nearby “old” town close to the BIOS station.
  • The next day was the day we start snorkeling, but not from the dive boat in the middle of the ocean, instead we snorkel close to the ocean, at a place call Whalebone Bay. That day wasn’t really good for me because of the foggy mask thus I can’t see anything underneath. Then I learned that our spit is the best solution to the problem. The thicker your spit is, the better. After the snorkel, we headed back to the station and look underneath microscope the sediment sample that was collected at the ocean floor of the bay. After the lab process, at night we have short lecture about what we learn and what we will see tomorrow. This schedule is continuous for the rest of the week.
  • Then come the worst day of my life. With a strong arrogant, I didn’t take the motion sickness pills before the trip, and the result? Guess for yourself. With the dive boat, we went to few places near the east of the island to do some snorkel and diving. The water was cold and freezing, and the wave was intense. Since I’m not a good swimmer, it was so hard for me to go across. Furthermore, there was this stupid jellyfish that is call Portuguese Man of War that is deadly, so what we have to do was swim around it try not to get sting. This is where the motion problem came in: I took of my snorkel (the breathing tube) to catch some good breath, and wham! the wave hit my face reall hard and I swallowed mouthful of seawater. Then I start to feel uneasy. Once I got on the boat, I couldn’t hold it anymore…
  • For the following days, I took precautious step to eat the pills before every trip on the boat.
  • On Thursday, we were allowed to wander in Hamilton, capital of Bermuda. So Harold, our Bermudian friend took us to few beautiful spots in the island, and take a ferry back to Hamilton. It was a best thing that I did in Bermuda (not the lab thing, darn prof).
  • One thing that I don;t like about the trip was changing time. He (our prof) said the night before that we depart at 9 a.m, but then he change again the nex morning 15 minutes earlier. Every single f**king day, and that really didn’t make me happy. I have to do a bussiness after every breakfast, but he disrupted my mood every day. I felt really pissed that day when he really change the time on the spot that morning after I carefully plan my time. Idiot.
  • Most things in Bermuda are crazy expensive, and the food is hell expensive than the clothes.
  • The best moment of my snorkeling experience: a sea turtle sitting in the middle of two pinnacle reef looking at us with its cute face.

Birthday Party

Since my birthday fell on Friday, my friends, all Asians (duh) decided to throw a BBQ party and anticipated surprise birthday cake. It was nice of them to do that, and I was really happy that day despite we have wait every five minutes for it to be served.

Summer Movies

I watch three movies so far, and I don’t know if I can watch more (but Transfomers 2 is in the compulsory list – I’m gonna be in Ottawa that day, so careful Ottawa people) since the theater is far and the taxi cost is not cheap.

Angels and Demons

Angels and Demons

I was excited by my friend that keep saying the movie is awesome and yada-yada. But what the hell, it wasn’t the great that I anticipated. The movie compared to The Da Vinci Code has less puzzle to be solved and somewhat straight forward to me. I just don’t feel any kind of emotion arousal in the cinema aside of the air conditioner in that place. The movie does have moral that we can see and interpret easily unlike Star Trek, but yet the pace and the story blend wasn’t feel right for me. I can’t comment more on this but the movie is okay but not that good.

Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation

The movie has good cinematic movement and great special effect with human expression of apocalyptic future, but no dramatic moment that can intertwined the whole movie. Christian Bale has a less cinematic appearance (I think) than Sam Worthington, but anyway I can say that the movie is good because of them. The pace of the movie is good, I felt enjoy by the action sequence, but at the end I felt empty again just like watching A&D (above) and depressed by the feeling that there’s gonna be another terminator movie to explain why the hell Arnold’s 3D recreation is evil, not good.

Star Trek

Star Trek

Nuff said, I have been waiting this movie since January this year, and the anticipation is worthy. This movie is so awesome (despite of empty philosophical meaning unlike The Wrath of Khan) that the whole pace, the comic relief situation and the characters are well blend together with the special effects that really open up the whole Star Trek Universe again to the new modern audience. This movie is enough to fill the “emptiness” of my summer movies (plus Transformers 2 perhaps).

Green Day – 21st Century Breakdown

21st Century Breakdown

This album contain the same sound and political / rebel lyrics as the previous American Idiot. I felt down at first, but after few perticular songs, I have to admit that the album made me smile for a day. Particular best tracks : Viva La Gloria, Before The Lobotomy, Last Night on Earth, 21 Guns, and American Eulogy.

Thats all folks for now.

Musim bunga semakin hampir. Tak lama lagi sekolah pun dah nak habis. Tamat sudah pengajian tahun 3. Ada lagi 3 minggu jer. Tapi aku masih ada matlamat belm tercapai lagi. Aku taknak sekolah berakhir macam tu sahaja. Akan aku laksanakan matlamat itu.

It seems that this blog will go on hiatus for the next few weeks, because: 2 presentations are coming and I ahven’t do anything about it yet; final exam is approaching; another paper for Hydrogeology is coming and it will be tough; financial crisis put me into deep solemn; reading comics; watching movies etc2.

I think that it is written this way, I won’t be working this summer. Instead I’m gonna sit in my room, enjoying my days while learning Spanish (that’s the plan). If any alst minute call come in, I won’t hesitate to take it. Money is crucial right now, but taking care of myself is more important.

Sorry for not updating this blog in quite a period (this is a reply to Reen). Busy gila, paper, assignment, masalah negara, tgk TV shows, macam2 lagi lah. In other words, malas sebenarnya. It is really hard actually I think, been confined to this place from other friends, have to be busy with school works, all of these made me feel sick with my own life sometimes. I feel tired with this life, I need to go somewhere to entertain myself. Nak online YM pun malas, MSN apatah lagi. Facebook pun sebab taktau nak pergi mana lagi kat internet ni. Bukak web lucah pun bosan, download movie bosan, download music bosan. Semua bosan.

Now, I want to talk about random thing. Here we go guys.

girltalkPlease do check out this guy. His real name is Gregg Gillis, stage name is Girl Talk. I believe, that he is right now the best mash-up DJ I ever found (I remember during my Maktab time, always put up mash-up song in late saturday night). I like some other mash-up remixes DJs out there such as Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow, and few other that I feel lazy to say it here. But GT is amazing. Not just did he mash-up different song, but it is totally different. In his album (Night Ripper, Feed the Animals) I found different buch of songs that I like which is always appear on the charts. He mixed them all up in one album with good beat from the beginning until the end of the album. It’s like a pool of cool songs that keep me up moving myself everytime I listen to it (warning: unsuitable to listen during sleep time). Highly recommended. To read more about him, wikipedia is the best place.

Los dan Faun best. Haha. Tu jer. Nothing is new. Serious.

TV shows

30 Rock ROCKS! The best episode I’ve watch so far: “Succession”. The most brilliant story line ever and background music that push the bounadry of comedic series. But I still like Scrubs because it’s the first comedic tv shows I’ve ever enjoyed.

I’ve found out that geology is scary. What a revelation!

This is something which is totally random. I want to put this as the “25 random things about me” on Facebook, but again lazy-lah! This might be a post that gonna be so straight. Straight as a gay.

I did went to school wearing short pants when I was 6 years-old. I never went to kindergarten, since my dad was the principal of SRKSB, I can enroll in standard one at 6 years old. I wore short pants, probably for a week or less, then I requested my parents to buy me long pants, because no one was wearing them that time. I felt shy you know. I was given a chance to go to standard two after that, but I refused. So I basically took darjah 1 two times, which then I met Amir Muhsin, my dear friend up until now.

I went to Sekolah Agama until standard 3, then I quit without really noticing it (I quit just like that, maybe my parents did something for that). Prior to the quitting, I didn’t go to school because of; 1) Dash Yankuro and 2) Citer P. Ramlee. Because of those, I skipped the school and finally quit. Think back again, I don’t really remember learning something there, except of writing in jawi, main gasing, kuda tempang, keter Tamiya, disturbing girls (I remember doing that stuff) and such other kids stuff.

I was the most lazy kid in the primary school (even in secondary too), I think. I never did any homework, and never do it properly (I just remember this becuase today, I realized I did it again: I forgot to do my hydro assignment). It was my Kaklong that checked my school work every day and reported it to my dad. I never really packed my bag before going to school, lacking in class. Banyak lah benda negatif yang lain. However, I was selected as prefect until standard 6m probably from my dad reputation. Despite of that, I still remember myself being a slackoff. I was pratically worst in every subject, except English. That was the only thing I was strong with. Everyone respect me because of that. Haha. Bangga, macam gampang. Nak bangga lagi; I don’t really need to study hard for it, I always good at it. Math was my worst, and I hate the math teachers (eventhough I forgot their names).

For that, I was given intensive personal teaching from Mr. Nasir. I’ll always remember his name. Because of him, I becoming good at math. Not to forget too Mr. Rosyam, my BM teacher that is so good at teaching us (I still got B for Pemahaman, sucks). I also went to tuition (tusyen) at night with Cikgu… I forgot their name… They are the teacher that also crucial in my primary education. One was Science teacher, the other is English teacher. They live so close to my house, but then they moved. I hope I can meet them again later.

I never get any number below 10, seriously (the lower the better). I think the lowest one that I ever got was numer 13, or 11. Somewhere around that. To make it worst, my best friend was the Best Student of the school. What a cruel life. For that, no one im my family ever thought I am gonna get 4 As for my UPSR, my mom expected at least 1. Take it back, cruel life ended at that period, but came again after few periods. Yet, my life still becoming better in each period after  few downfalls.

Beside Amir, I did have few childhood friends that  I still remember them hard in my mind. In 2005, we did a reunion to gather back everyone from the class. But only few can be found, and those that could’t be contacted are the close one. Rasyadan also called my “kembar” was in Perak, so he couldn’t come. Shukri, some say he’s around but he wasn’t there. Salleh was with me until form 3, so I remember him well. Fakhrul, a very close frimd during standard 6, was nowhere to be found (lost his number), not even a news. But then I remember “him”, which was totally out of news.

I remember about his background, which I recently remembered since I’m in Canada. His mother was a Canadian and his father was a Malay guy. I think that his mother is a French-Canadian, based on her appearances one day at the school: brunette, tall, white-skin and blue eyes. Her sister name was Anastasia. Eventhough their mother was Canadian, both of them was nowhere near mat saleh look. He was known among us as the most “otak lucah”, yeah just like Harun, but was weirder because he did it at young age. He always go to Canada during holiday, met his grandparents perhaps. At age 12, he already start developing grown up man features (to us at that time). One thing was so cool about him, he is so good in drawing. He, me and Amir always try to create comic books out of our note book. But his was always better in drawing and storyline. There are some other childish stuff that we did together and fun, but I don’t really have the time to say it here. Owh, one thing. Since he has the Canadian blood, he is the other student that is so good in English. He was natural. And since I am one of his best friends, the teacher always questioning me why my English cannot improve? Okayh, I admit my english was suck, but better than most students.

With that, I wonder wher he is right now? Is he in Canada, or still in country? Maybe I should try to look for him one day, go to his nenek house (his uncle is Azman Adnan, goal keeper Selangor tuu), ask for him.

Why all the childhood remisnisce? Look below.

Read 20th Century Boys. Then you may know why.

There’s gonna be more random things coming up. Relationship is one of the best too. Until then, chow cincau~

It seems that it is a good time to update this underrated blog. My idea of writing is somehow gone for the past few weeks. I have so many stuff to tell here, but for the lack of enthusiasm I decided not to.

By the way, Jeremy Kozlowski found my blog the other day. Man. Nak cakap BM pun dia faham. Aiseyh…

Notice the new theme for my blog? I love it now. I hope that it can stay for a longer period than before.

My habit of writing movie reviews has found no progress recently. It’s not because I didn’t watch any movies lately, I did but for no reason, I couldn’t write about them like usual. Maybe because what I discovered was my writing in critics compared to the other “real” critics is not even on-par. Probably that is because they are professionals. What am I thinking? Here we go again, feeling uneasy for being at the bottom.

The reason why I can’t keep updating my blog is due to my tight schedule, not that tight really but the feeling to procrastinate in between my break from heavy-hardcore-study was unavailable for most of the time. But that’s not true, instead I went searching for pictures, music, wallpaper, iPod’s software, and such other stuff. That’s how the cycle was.

Since this week is the Reading / Spring Break Week, I decided to give some touch for my blog as to keep it alive and “fresh”. Haris Khairuddin ada bagi tag kat aku, tapi kemalasan aku menyahut dan kata “taknak buat”.

Lets go with the movies first.

Dated back from January: (I couldn’t remember much of them, but pick few that was interesting)

Definitely, Maybe

The movie that is starred by Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz was a crazy moment of movie experience (well observed) so far in my life. The story is interesting as it tried to create a puzzle for us and Maya (Breslin) to find which is the real mother (to her). But the story line that is constructed by Will (Reynolds) is at first was some kind of string attached to linear pieces that is supposed to be solved by Maya, but as the story progress none of the story / plot was a mechanism that can work as a puzzle. So the story was to begin with is a love story that is complicated and intertwined in sense of emotion. But in a delicate way of story telling, the plot is not heavy for audience to understand the problem of Will Hayes and his love life. To keep it short, the overall movie was simple, nice and cute. There is a moment in the story that put my life out of balance (suddenly snapped, kinda like jerkish motion) – the word “crush”.

Slumdog Millionaire

Takyah cakap arr movie ni. Ramai orang puji2. Aku pun nak puji. Tapi kalau nak elaborate cerita ni dan mesej dia bla2, aku tak layak. Yang penting, best.

Kami The Movie

Sequel dan penjelasan kepada apa yang terjadi selepas episod 8 drama bersiri Kami di 8TV. Cerita ini (for my opinion) bagus dari segi lakonan watak dan interconnecting story line between each character. Entah apa ayat aku pakai pun aku tak tahu. Tapi macam ada sedikit klise especially about people die and then you have to move on…

Sekali lagi sebuah cerita yang ada warna tersendiri kepada penonton. Sorry to say, I feel this movie has its own touch is from the acting of all the cast. Apa nama dia? Aku dah lupa, M. Subash? He that works both as the director and main actor had made such a good OKU (disable person) impersonation. Not to forget also Ruminah Sidek yang memang sentiasa mencuit hati walaupun karakter dia didirikan untuk tujuan mengungkit kesedihan. For the plot development or progress, there are few time that I felt boring especially for the part that his mother wouldn’t even careless for him. It was somehow kinda typical step mother characteristics that has always been in a movie. At the end of the movie, it was said that without will to fight there is no success (somekind like that, I just make it up here LOL) while we the audience never really find out what happen to Subash after that. Maybe I’m just to dumb to get the whole message.

Banyak pulak cerita Melayu aku tengok lately and Wayang is the latest of them. I watch this movie while marking assignments. So as to make it up here, I found no object of peculiarity in the whole story / plot. Its message for my understanding is that the character that was played by Eman Manan called Awang Lah tried to fight for continuity of his tradition in playing Wayang Kulit, in a sense that the orthodox tradition can never be broken my modern culture. In the story he raised 2 children, a girl and a boy that was selected as his successor in the future. There was an event where the boy (played by Zul Khuzaimi, did I spell it right?) introduced some pop song in the play, which caused anger to Awang Lah for disobey the rule of Wayang Kulit. For some period of time the anger gone but it is always replaced with some other sentiment in Malay culture. Some of them were a hatred for jealousy over someone’s success, jealousy for the beauty that a blind people can have and a love that was no context of lust at all but despised by everyone. Envy, Jealousy, Anger, Reunion, and Death is what the story depict for the whole course of its running period. How long was it? I forgot.

Il Divo

An Italian story about the Prime Minister of Italy (not currently) Gullio Andrreotti. It is one of the film that I fell asleep despite that the whole movie was so good and entertaining. Waht I think was good about the movie is the character itself, the cinematography and editing of each framework plus amazing song that was used to carry the plot in motion. However, being a movie that won Jury Prize in Cannes 2008, the movie contained so many charecter and political terms (and figures) that can cause a little bit of confusion, and since I have to watch it with subtitle it wasn’t really helpful since a there are few scenes in the movie that went really fast. I think that I have to watch it again for second time. The movie has a good foundation in its character development regarding his past life that seems to affect his political career. In the movie he is allegedly has a connection with the Italian mafia especially with the legendary Toto’ Riina. But for the purpose of ambiguity and unbias to the protagonist of the film, we can never really identify wether the accusation was true or not since the confident and calmness of the character can never assure you his motive. You gotta watch this movie to understand more what am I rambling about.

Three Monkeys

The movie that won Best Director Award at Cannes 2008. Have any idea what kind of movie I watch lately?

This Turkish film amazed me by its slowness, static camera with few dialogue and not to forget an “unsuccessful” sex scene from a movie that was produced from Islamic Country (secular, I believe?). The story was so slow that I was getting uneasy watching it. But again despite of that the progress of the story was good and smooth with characters that is filled in for purpose of the whole story (read: three monkeys), which in the end you will say it “I knew that he is the one who did it”.

Directed by Clint Eastwood and written by J. Michael Straczynski. When I heard that name I just went straight without any doubt that the movie gonna be good. But why does it have an moderate score at RottenTomatoes? Probably from the fact that the movie is too conventional in pleasing the audience with the theme that it evoked throughout the movie. You can get much more information here. For me the movie wasn’t that bad, thinking back again. It entertained me as much with the fight that the character has to deal with and corruption that has been going on with the LAPD force (during the 20’s). The gruesome and maniacal killer in the movie also never ceased to amazed me, and the open ending with the word “hope” uttered by Angelina Jolie that left us neither happy nor sad when the creadit started to roll.

At the End of Time…

There are few other movies that I watched recently, but I intend not to tell more about them here. This include In Bruges, Back to the Future (1-3), Love Actually (another film that push me further), and Liar Liar (a good old one).

I’ve been studying for the past few days actually, however I just realized that I didn’t actually study. Instead what I did was looking and memorizing the whole PPT just as it was a picture.

By the way, the title of the post was at first seems to be a reference to the music of Animal Collective, which was the original plan / blueprint for this post. I’ll do it some other time.

Have a good one.

Right now, my feeling can be described by this song.

Finished my exam yesterday at 12, get a haircut, clean my room, pack my stuff and ready to go for 3 weeks winter break across Canada. From East to West, here I come Vancouver!

History of the trip

Originally the trip was brought up by Ariff before we ended our summer trip, I remembered it when we were at Langkawi. He said, that students from the US are going to Vancouver this winter, so ask me if I want to join. “Of course I will”. So this is the dilemma. I was originally thought of going to New York for the new year. This was ultimate confirmation actually. But then, I don’t know how this thing was slipped under Izzy’s nose, probably from our wall in Facebook I think. When she knew about this, we were in agreement “okay, let’s see”. At that time too, money to me wasn’t a problem for the trip, until the field trip to Bermuda is on the air.

The Problem

For being a sponsored student, optional field trip is not a requirement, thus I won’t get payed. However, the MR. SA said that he wanted my prof to send an email to him regarding the field trip, what is the benefits especially for petroleum Geologist, bla2. So, my prof did send the email to him, but no reply from him until this day. What kind of SA is that? Buat malu jer. Then I have no other choice, with bank account left around 2000++, I decided to go to the trip, but for that I have to save my money to the extent that I just use the money for my toiletries. That’s all. So I tried to persuade people of not going to Vancouver this winter, instead we hang around Ottawa, Montreal and closer place to mine, but no. Don’t argue  with her, you gonna lose. Not lose by word, but by…

Anyway now, I’m in a great debt with Harun, Afiqah and I believe subsequently to my friend in Montreal, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Even right now I have a feeling that my sister will be one of my Ah-long. Aiyyoo. Traveling without money is a pain. I’m gonna vomit blood soon.

The Trip

It will begin tomorrow at 1235, from Halifax to Montreal. Arrive at Montreal the next day at 8 in the morning. Stay there for 2 days, then ready to embark for Edmonton. This time the trip will take about 3 days, on train. I hope it will be fun, it has to be fun! If not I’m gonna start to blame someone. Stay in Edmonton for 3 days, then Rady for Vancouver, one day trip again. Staying at Vancouver for a week I think, then back again to Halifax. During the stay at Vancouver, probably goes to Seattle, teman mak datin shopping dan pengganas yang tak boleh masuk US. All of these, of course will cost money. Why didn’t I think this carefully, idiot me. I heard that the power supply on the train is not reliable for computer charging, so I don’t know how I’m gonna waste my time there, sleep whole day is not my type, ngurat awek pon tak boleh, ngurat ko? Lagi, jangan harap.

During those stays, we are gonna fill every hour we have with fun stuff, and it has already been planned. But, I forgot all of it, haha. However this is my request to them, by hook or crook, I am going to watch this movie, whatever it takes: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttom

This movie hasn’t been out yet, but I can feel it’s beauty from the trailer, from the actor/actress (Brad Pitt man!) and the director (even nominated for golden globe!). So, 10 bucks reserve for this. Played on 25 December, it will be a full house, I’m sure, but we have to fight for it.

So there we go about my future trip. I hope it’s gonna be a blast, I hope…

Jejari Mentega

I am not a good (worst ever) follower of Malaysian Underground Music Scene, or independent, or whatever that is opposite of mainstream. I have to admit that first, before I’ll go at great length talking about my latest obsession, a Malaysian-underground-music-scene-legend: Butterfingers. I know the existence of Butterfingers when I was in standard 5 or 6, I don’t remember, but it was during ntv7 was first introduced in TV. They always played music videos from Hollywood artist, Indian-Hindustan, Chinese and of course Malay songs too. There was few times that they played MVs of Butterfingers and OAG, they sang the English song that time, and kinda unique to my ear. Because of the uniqueness, I don’t really try to notice them, but I just know they exist, until OAG goes mainstream with their malay songs. Yet, Butterfingers never really made themselves into mainstream, or if they did, it must be me that have problem with outside world as I was trapped in the “prison” for 2 years (you know what I mean).

Not going for such length about how best this band is, I just wanna make “review” of what I feel about their particular albums and songs (taknak cakap panjang2 pun, bukan ada orang nak baca). After got almost of their album from unreliable source, I found that their 2004 album is the best piece ever, I believe. It is titled Selamat Tinggal Dunia. The album title suggest that they will leave the music scene forever right? But definitely not, this year they just release a new great album (as usual) Kembali, and one of them is the MV above.

About the Selamat Tinggal Dunia, it is a song from the album that use imagery technique about people on WW2: as a soldier is about on the verge of dying on the battlefield. Apart from that, what I believe STD is one of the solid constructed album is the use of music sampling, Beatles-esque type of music. Each song almost have a bridging tempo of this sampling. Have you ever heard Strawberry Field Forever? That is how the song Cuai faded, turning into the next track, fully composed of samples called as Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda. Haha, even the title of the song is weird, and that is how Butterfingers always work about. Bunyi Butter. Always try to be different, even if it doesn’t make sense. Kabus Ribut also one the sweetest simple song, just like Radiohead style in the early years (Pablo Honey and The Bends kind).

I noticed there is gradual change in their style of music, from the 1.2 Miligrams until Kembali. At first, the voice of Emmet almost sound like Kurt Cobain, no dissimilarities at all. But in Malayneum his voice totally different, even the mood is no longer grungy as usual (there is some). Yet, State of Abyssmal did really make my love to them deeper from before. There are some songs that really push me, such as the famous one, The Chemistry, Royal Jelly, Chrome, Faculties of the mind, and few others. How come they never being exploited internationally, is something that I don’t know. Nowadays, there are new bands emerging in underground that carry the same music as them, but Selamat Tinggal Dunia is something that I look forward in the future for people to beat it. It’s not the songs that make it together, but the album itself. I used to have this feeling when listening to Abbey Road and The Dark Side of The Moon, albums that are well constructed by the best minds. Kalau lirik diorang ada konsep – konsep keagamaan sikit, mesti boleh beat Dewa, kalau producer diorang tahu nak promo diorang betul – betul (do they have a producer?).

Anyway, this is what I feels and think, please don’t get offended or anything if what I’m saying is wrong, or right. If you don’t agree, don’t go wild at me, and if you agree, just go and please yourself with their songs. I’m just a blogger with a power to voice what I feel.

Maybe I can go politics sometimes. Komplen sini sana, kondem sana sini…

Heyh, orang kita.

The last few weeks were my most challenging period in my whole life experience. Too many assignments to hand in, too many things going on, and also the out of ordinary life experience I ever had so far, and it went well without a problem. So, here I am again to share my feeling about the movies that I watched since  the beginning  of my third year in Canada. One year left for me to taste the air of Malaysia again.

Citizen Kane

Citizen KaneThe movie that is listed as the greatest movie in Hollywood, and I believe it is. I don’t want to go any further details comment here since wikipedia offer a lot of interpretation there, including the production, sypnosis, the new shooting technique, and so on. But I just want to share my opinion in this film.

This movie gives me the same kind of feeling when I was watching the Aviator by Martin Scorsese. The story tells about the dilemma of a overload succesful man, too much money with him, to much ambition, and greedy is something that this kind of human cannot put aside. The way the movie expand, until its climax and the ending is the perfect structure to make the audience, such as myself became eager to know what is the “Rosebud” – an object that made the movie working. In the end, we all know what it is, what could it represent to the theme of the story. Such man will think back about his past when he lost everything in the end, think back the best memory ever, the happiest moment in his life that nothing can shake it down, not even the greatest force. This scene is mirrored, well I think, with the ending of American Beauty – just before the character played by Kevin Spacey died, he remembered the moment of true happiness in his life.

Another one thing that I want to point out, well anyway, despite the movie was made in the early 40’s before the WW2, the cinematic direction of the movie was damn-hell-amazing! I couldn’t believe my eyes that such cinematic art exist during that time, and that kinda thing also made me sit properly in the chair, watching every single detail that the movie explore. If you can really grab the copy of this movie, please do watch it. I know few people nowadays can’t really get along with black and white movie, but this kind of movie, it’s just dope, well at leat for those who favored drama genre, like me.

The Wild Bunch

The Wild Bunch

Another classic movie that I managed to watch last week. The concept of the movie is to tell how the aged man like those Wild Bunch striving to live in the modern days. Just like No Country For Old Men, it carries the same symbolic interpretation. The ending of the movie is a little bit touching for me, and it never occur to my mind that the ending gonna be like that. For a friend, they stood up to their honor as men should do, and not letting the friend dying in vain, so as them. Another good classic movie to watch, and beware of the brutality of the movie: lots of blood; countless death; and not to forget, women!

The Shawshank Redemption

The Shawsahnk Redemption

This movie is superb. I couldn’t agree less, it was mind-blasting, haha!. The way the movie progress, the surprised ending, the theme and emotion associated when watching the movie, it was just amazing. Since I started watching Prison Break this year, this movie gives me a good background about the whole way of mind thinking, plots, situation in prison. Even I could say the Prison Break almost resemble this movie, but not. Just thinking you know, my opinion. This movie is based on a novella by Stephen King, ans directed by the same director of The Green Mile, so it carries the same atmosphere.

Anyway, why I like this movie is the character himself, Andy Dufresne (played by Tim Robbins). He is committed to the murdering his wife while sleeping with another man, but he says he didn’t do it. As we watch the movie, we couldn’t make it more sure whether he really killed his wife or not, and why the title is called redemption. Andy good nature helped him got a secure protection in the prison, such as able to work in the library, managing the officers account (he is a bank accountant), and hiding the dirty money created by the warden of the prison – at the same time he created an anonymous figure that lives outside of the prison who supposed to act as a money launderer (is it, I don’t really sure) . The story is mostly narrated by background voice of Morgan Freeman as a character named Red. Red long imprisonment is also another situation explored in the film, as why such redeemed people cannot get out of prison, and such is the reason why Andy breakout from the prison – no longer have any evidence to release him, staying in the prison for a long time just won’t bring you justice, and escaping is the best method.

The important key to note in this movie is the human feeling. During a scene where Andy played a classical music to the inmates through the announcement speaker, the feeling of which inmate felt was the subject of human relation to the way they live. Prolong entrapment in the prison can get one person feeling dull, but Andy try to bend it; he try to simulate those feeling again, to make each of them realize that they are still living, in sense of normal life and feeling. I don’t know how to make this more justify, as my English won’t be any good than this, I mean to write such philosophical stuff.

Also, for those that realizing themselves as a “Geologist” do watch this movie, as you gonna realise that the hammer is the greatest tool that a man has created.

The Usual Suspects

The Usual Suspects

Also an old movie, yeah I have been watching too many old movie nowadays, but alas it is fun and good. The whole story is just normal sh*t, a gangster movie, a group of man planned a heist after being caught together. During the heist, they found out that they are targeted by the ruthless man ever lived, a man called Keyser Soze.

The whole plot is flashbacks told from the survivor of the heist, Verbal played by Kevin Spacey. There are few moments where the plot is not coherent, as the detective find that he is not telling the truth. So, there are plots that do build up, together with the detective himself making another plot, suggesting that the Keyser Soze is Dean Keaton, another main character from the story which we saw at the beginning of the movie is dead. So I was carried by the movie itself, realizing each point is absurd, yet make sense, and (this is what make the story feel so good) at the end, the mechanism which is called twisted ending (which I always like) make the whole story more confusing that it already has, but satisfaction was there in my heart that moment, as no such clue would ever exist during the whole story. This kind of feeling is the same one that I get with The Fight Club. Owh, how I loved this movie.

A thriller film that directed by the same director of The Fight Club. Brad Pitt is in this movie. Another good reason to watch this movie, haha. Lets not forget Morgan Freeman too, as he did a good job in this movie. This movie is simple, a killer that is on the move killing innocent people without motives. Every time he leaves his victim, he always print out one of the Seven Deadly Sins, each one of them was, we’ll know at the finale of the movie, is associated with the victim. So as we progressed through the movie, we learned about the life if the Pitt’s character, the life of the supposed-to-retired Freeman, and the maniac serial killer, played again by Kevin Spacey. He is amazing isn’t he?

The only thing that keep me going with this movie is the anticipation to wait the whole seven sins to appear, and the last two is actually planned perfectly well by the killer, known as John Doe. He tried making Pitt as the Wrath and himself as Envy. By giving motives for Pitt to kill him, he is considerably success in his scheme to become the righteous man of God (he thinks himself as a preacher).

Body of Lies

Body of Lies

Yet another movie that associates Islam with terrorism and America as the solver. The movie really gives the feeling of terror from the Jihadist group. The movie itself, as I believe is a normal thriller movie, trying to solve the problem of the active bombings in Europe, and to lure the leader of the group. So they create an innocent man to become the supposed bomber that can be considered as challenge to the leader. So by this, they can get to the Jihadist leader. The character played by Leonardo DiCaprio is the protagonist to solve the problem and while staying in Lebanon, he falls in love a muslim women. But this doesn’t really create a conflicting point on the film.

I don’t know why I even bothered to comment on this film. One final note, It is another crime thriller film that try to associate with the real world problem, so that’s what make it real that a normal crime film such as below.

Righteous Kill

Righteous Kill

It is a boring film. Yes, that’s what I felt when watching this film. At the beginning, the movie seems to be good, with the killer was exposed in the early film and start to narrate the movie plot. The supposed killer, Turk played by Robert DeNiro try to tell the killing he planned is meant to give justice to the murderers, as they are escaped from commiting the crime by courtlaw. So, he devised the killing of each murderers, and as he tells the story, he gives out the fiugre of how many people he killed. At the end we know that the main killer is not Deniro, but Rooster, played by Al Pacino. This sounds like a good twisted ending isn’t it? Let me tell you why it is not!!

In the movie, when DeNiro start to describe the killing, we are shown how the murdering happen, but we never get to see he really did it, instead we are shown from the perspective of the killer instead. Then during one scene, he described how he admired his partner, taking him as a role model. This dialogue is actually repeated from the beginning of the movie, when Pacino tells DeNiro how he admired him as a role model. How come two people gonna have the same feeling together at the same time? It’s just not good enough. So I just knew it how the outcome gonna be, so less anticipation to the end. Then the end really sucks, he could be more ruthless by shooting Deniro, but no! He ran away, and unsuccessful? That just sh*t, with he letting the woman to live so we can feel the suspence such as “C’mon, show me who the murderer is!“. But it is not enough, the moment never come, it came before that, and wargh!! Such a waste of time watching it. You think it is good movie since two great actors in it? You’re effing wrong. You’re bullsh*tting yourself. Yes, you!

Till then, have a great week. We’ll be back with the review of The Dark Knight sometimes later.

Finally, with the freezing temperture outside which remind us that the summer time is over, here come Autumn and following next as always (as the Earth keep doing it things) is Winter time, then winter break, then christmas, and so on. Anyway, not here to talk about Earth Science stuff, but reviews for movies that I’ve watched during summer break in Malaysia. The cost to each show is RM 10 in average, depend on cinemas type and day. For students, I encourage you to go to GSC since it provide discount to students everyday, but that if you brought your student ID to convince the akak working at the counter.

The list that I present here is created by timeline of my three months summer break. It’s a lot, I calculated again (pre-writing process) and came out surprisingly (but not really) = 12 movies. That’s not a lot really, I think. Maybe someone can do that in a month, I believe (if there is any). So, here it goes (WARNING: CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT WATCHED ANY OF THEM):

The Chonicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I watched it week after I got back. So bored at home, I decided to go to cinema, and lucky enought it was playing that day. The story is a sequel of the earlier Narnia series: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It follows the 4 siblings back to Narnia after few years past in Human world, but 400 years in Narnia. When they got there, everything was changes and most Narnian live in the dark or underground to protect themselves from the humans that are known as Telmarines. The king, which called as King Miraz has a plot to make his son as the succesor and kill the Prince Caspian, supposedly the true heir of the throne. So, the movie goes on with the Pevensies try to save Narnia and help the Prince Caspian to get his right again as the true successor. The king plot to destroy the Narnian cause the Realm of Narnia plunges back to War, just like the previous one, but this time with human versus weird creatures, rather than creatures versus creatures.

The overall plot of the story is, ermm not bad I think. The maturity of each character is the best point to look at than the previous film, but not all. Peter Pevensie overgrown energy and pride cause him few regrettable moment in the movie, especially during the assault that cause unnecessary losses. The fight between him and the King Miraz is the highlight of the show, but sometimes it made me wonders how come he is so strong to fight an adult, but yeah, he is an adult. What the hell am I thinking about? The action sequences during this fight is just brilliant. Love it, just like the Gladiator.

The character Edmund Pevensie is the best I observed. There are few parts that show him as the true saviour of the Narnian, rather than his brother and Prince Caspian. When Peter is almost succumb to the temptation of the White Witch, Edmund destroy her without slightest feeling of mercy. Throughout the movie, he also shows quite impressive characteristics, such as reminding Peter to smile at the Narnian to give them confidence.

The story also shows how children can go to Narnia and start killing people. Haha. This is what I got after reading few reviews off the net. The bad side of the movie, yup. While at that point, Aslan the Lion still shows the religious (positive) symbol of the whole story. I kinda forgot how he make the hint to Lucy Pevensie to search him if she believe enough in him. (something like that) Just like you belive your own God, or Jesus which is the aspect of the whole Narnia series created by C.S. Lewis.

Overall, the movie is worth watching, but little bit radical for kids to watch as there are slaughters of creatures and humans, yet still fun for us to look at the CGI effects in the movie.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Yeah, he’s back after almost 18 years absent. Same actor, Harrison Ford to play his role, but different time and setting for rapid evolution of the world. The story follow the lives of Indy as the archeologist and part time teacher in the post World War 2, which nuclear bombing is the main sensation of that time. I don’t know how to go elaborating the plot of the story, but I’ll point out few good and bad things (yes, that’s what I should do in a review, idiot me).

The character of Indy, as what people already spotted has matured over past few years (between the third and this movie). No longer acting out of ordinary whithout proper concious, he now knows ho to control over-agrresive Mutt (which turned out to be his son), and think about others safeties first. Despite his old age, he’s still strong enough to fight the Russian soldier in the crowd of wild ants down the South America ( I forgot the place). The ants are so ridicilously huge, they even eat human alive. The other characters such as Mutt, a funny young guy with his motorbike, a Grease that’s what people refer to that type of guys during the 50’s. He is not an archeologist like Indy, but valuable enough to be put in the movie as a reliable sidekick. The comeback of Marion Ravenwood also a good point in the story. Since Indy not young anymore, he cannot jump on any young woman, as it wouldn’t fit the wiser character. Her funny characterisation is what make the story goes without bore interruption. Overall, the characters are good to observe as you go through.

The downside of the movie, for me is the whole theme of alien thing. A kingdom being built in the past by aliens which has a crystal skull, and highly magnetized? There has been few weird thing in the past movies too, but an alien theme, is not good at all. The story CGI over excessice toward the end is not bad, but kinda ran away from original Indy element. However most of the stunts done in the movie is real. Praise for that. And yeah, for the nuclear scene, it was damn good, but can somebody really survives from that crash, trapped in the lead refrigerator?

Iron Man

An awesome film. Okay, i’m gonna go short this time. Time is running out.

The effects in the movie wasn’t that bad, compared to Spider-Man of course, but the morality in the movie is a best highlight. How the character, Tony Sparks (Played by Robert Downey Jr.) developed into a responsible man, the Iron Man is what make the movie worthy to see (the development of the character just like the Batman Begins). Not just that, the effects, wait a minute, I just talked about it. What other thing can I point out from this movie? Why is the movie get a higher rating from Rotten Tomatoes? To think back again, Transformers has a good CGI too, but it still get a lower rating than Iron Man. Why is that?

Owh man,  I have nothing to point out anymore. One thing for sure, the movie is great!

An action packed movie that is worthy to watch, especially for those that like gun fighting, bullet-time effects and impossible bullet curve techniques. Yes, the highlight of the movie is the bullet curve method. The shooters, assassins I mean can make the bullet travel into a curve path, not just that it can go into circle path too. Owh, they can snipe you from a ridiculous distance.

The story, originally was a kind of superheroes type of movie. In the comics, the character wears suit when doing their job, but to make the movie look realistic (depsite it unrealistic bullet curve) the director make them wear normal cloth. The story follows the life of Wesley Gibson (played by James McAvoy) from a cubic-space worker under a fat irritating boss to a super assassin, just like his father. He is one of the few people that can increase adrenaline when facing danger and become fully sensitive to surrounding so that everything will go slow and shooting a person is nothing like pulling up your pants (what kind of metaphore is this?). As the story progress, nothing is good enough to be point out to make it better than any assassin type of story.

Anyway, Angelina Jolie is the principal actress of this movie, so most of the cinema was filled with guys. No, I was there because I have nothing to do before the next show that I supposed to watch. What is the show? The next one of course.

A romantic film directed by Khabir Bhatia. My favorite director following his success with his previous movie, Cinta.

This story is seperated into three different parts, each with different characters, but intertwined together that made the whole story complete. The first part is about a guy named, err, I forgot (played by Afdlin Shauki). This is the only part of the movie that the plot is funny and eat me inside. This guy, you see cannot find a perfect match to be his wife, while all of his bestfriends already married. One day, he meet this woman that carry a scent of Camelia (is it?), his favorite one. Then suddenly he fell in love with this woman, typical for a guy that live in the desert (you know what I mean). Surprisingly, this woman is on the verge to get married soon. So he pissed off with his life and decided to make a relationship with this cazy woman played by Nasha Aziz that amired him since college. Eventhough she is a crazy woman, but my God she is so lovely and beautiful. Okayh, I’m off my concious right now. Then as the plot grow, he witnessed an accident that bring us to another part of the story about the accidentee (I know this is wrong but I can’t think of any good name to call). Argh, I’m not gonna tell the whole story.

What made me impress with this movie, as other works from Khabir is the shots of Kuala Lumpur. If you look with your own eyes, you cannot believe how beautiful KL inside the movie. The angle, the mood of the scene is amazing. Not to forget too is the third part of the story, which turn out to be kinda twisted ending (her boyfriend is nothing but an illusion) and that what makes me love the movie.

Sorry tho, no poster for this movie. Hua2.

The Incredible Hulk

One thing I like about this movie is the comeback of Hulk’s angry emotion. I got excited everytime I saw him turning green. I want to be green too.

Edward Norton is the man. He made this movie (I believe he’s one of the writers too) unlike the previous Hulk movie which stars Eric Bana. His emotion toward this story is great. I can feel the cumulated anger in him every time he about to go mad. Tim Roth hunger for power is also another key player to keep this movie goes. The fight between Abomination and Hulk is also fantastic, but the way it ended its not enough. I was kinda disappointed for a while there, two seats away from the screen. The chasing sequence in the movie wasn’t that bad, running here and there, nothing that can made me feel bored (chasing sequence is the good element to make somebody feel suspence).

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

I’m particularly bias actually, since I’m liking a movie because of the director. And yes, Guillermo del Toro is one of my favorite directors. Why I liked his movies is because of his pure imagination of mystic creatures (Pan’s Labyrinth just amazed me). The asthetics look of the creatures and the beginning sequence of the movie is my highlight of the whole movie. At the beginnig, del Toro uses wooden army (CGI of course) to introduce the back story of the story. It’s just amazing, I love it a lot. Then he bring up the underground market scene, which comprises of many weird creatures with each different and unique look. The death angel created by del Toro is just enough to make me feel agitated on the seat.

The fight sequence is awesome. With that big body, Hellboy can move like shit. Overall, the movie is good. With few unsucessful love theme between Liz and Red, and Abe with the Princess Nuala, the movie is one of the best for summer 2008.

A short, not so good movie to watch. The only thing that make this movie good is Will Smith and Charlize Theron. The whole plot of the movie, nothing is good. I mean the theme of the movie is good enough, about how the superhuman felt down by the community, get drunk most of the time and then become helpful after his manager help him to behave. But that’s all thanks to the great performance by Smith. So, no further comment on this movie.

The Dark Knight

I’m gonna make a super-review of this movie later, but not today. It’s the best movie I watched during the summer, and the best yet in my whole movies experience.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Emperor Dragon

Why do I even bothered to watch this movie at first place. The first and second one wasn’t that bad, but this one it’s just sucks. Weak plot and weak effects, this two thing is just enough to make me feel boring with the movie. Actors and actresses were good, feel happy to see Brendan Fraser as Rick O’Connel on the screen again. The humours is good to keep me entertained, but the whole plot, sigh.

Nothing is lame, boring, not good, sucks and all kind of thing that can associate with negative view with Pixar’s movies. Wall-E as expected, the best animation of the year (for me). As the movie is family oriented movie, everything was kept simple and easy to understand. The comedic situation of Wall-E and EVA is fantastic. The question to know why EVA was there on the Earth full of garbage is a good thing to make we continue watching and feel excited. Then we were brought to human situation which at the beginning of the movie, no human can be seen as they have left the Earth due to mass production. Due of high technolgy created by human that make them use less energy to move, every single human on the ship was effing fat. They couldn’t even moved from their seat and get themselves up after falling down from the automobile chair. What a sad situation to look at in the movie, and yes a good point that was made by the writers of the story. Thanks to robots, we humans are becoming lazy.

The animation quality, as other Pixar’s movie, nothing is not great. It is a worth movie to watch again sometime. Even robots can feel love, why not us?

Star Wars: Clone Wars

I was expecting something great from the movie, but I was wrong. I watched a cartoon version few years ago, and the action was so damn cool, but nothing was shown in the movie. A lame plot building, good fighting scene, but overall it’s totally for kids enjoyment. For the Star Wars fans out there, you can use this as one of the collection, but never will it be a favorite one.

Wowh, that was a long post. I almost lost ideas what to write with this so many English words. Yet, I still need to write about The Dark Knight later, but for now this is what I can do to keep my post thread going. Have a good weekend everyone, and chow~
